Privacy Policy

This policy explains how T-Break & Quit Weed: Unfog handles information in the app and on this website.

Effective and last updated: October 26, 2026

On this page Summary Data in the app Storage and backups Website data Sharing and sale Retention and deletion Security Age requirement Contact

1. Summary

T-Break & Quit Weed: Unfog does not require an account and does not transmit your tracker profile, check-ins, cannabis/THC history, craving logs, or private notes to the developer or any third party.

The app is built from the ground up as a private, local-first tool for your iPhone and iPad. It contains zero third-party advertising SDKs and zero invasive user profiling.

2. Information handled by the app

You may choose to enter information such as:

  • Your tracking goal (Quitting Permanently or taking a 30-Day Tolerance Break).
  • Your quit date or start date and time.
  • Daily weed-free check-ins, mood ratings, and physical withdrawal symptom logs.
  • Cannabis/THC session history and optional private journal entries.
  • Your typical dispensary or cannabis purchase cost and usage frequency, used to estimate personal money saved.
  • Craving rescue session history (4-7-8 vagus nerve breathing sessions).
  • Your visual theme, lock screen widget settings, and notification preferences.

This information is processed exclusively on your device to calculate your clean streak, brain recovery timelines (e.g. CB1 receptor reset, REM sleep rebound), and estimated financial savings.

3. Local storage and backups

Core tracker data is stored securely in the app’s local iOS container and private local storage. The developer does not operate any cloud database that collects your entries.

iCloud Sync

If you enable iCloud Backup and Sync in your device settings, your encrypted data is synced through Apple's CloudKit infrastructure directly linked to your personal Apple Account. The developer has no access to your iCloud container.

Exported JSON backups

If you choose to export your data in Settings, the app creates a JSON backup containing your logs. You choose where to save or share that file via iOS system sheets. The developer never receives your exported files.

4. Website information

This website does not use tracking cookies, analytics pixels, or advertising beacons. If you reach out to customer support via email, your email address and message contents are used solely to assist you and answer your questions.

The website is hosted using GitHub Pages and Cloudflare, which may collect standard server logs (such as IP addresses and browser headers) for network security and DDOS mitigation under their respective privacy policies.

5. Sharing and sale

The developer does not sell, rent, or monetize your personal or behavioral data. Because tracker data remains on your physical device, we cannot and do not share your health or usage data with advertisers, data brokers, or commercial third parties.

6. Retention, deletion, and your choices

Tracker information stays on your device until you edit it, reset your tracker in Settings, or delete the app. Deleting the application removes its local container. You can also wipe your data at any time via Settings > Reset Data.

7. Security

The app relies on the robust sandboxing and biometric hardware security (Face ID / Touch ID) built into iOS and iPadOS. We recommend using a strong device passcode to protect your private journaling on your physical device.

8. Age requirement (18+)

T-Break & Quit Weed: Unfog is intended for adults aged 18 and older. The developer does not knowingly collect information from or market to minors.
